    This website is run by Artswork Media, part of BA (Hons) Creative Media at Bath Spa University. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

    • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using your browser or device settings

    • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen

    • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard

    • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software

    • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

    We've also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

  • Artswork Media is a website run as part of BA (Hons) Creative Media at Bath Spa University. For the purposes of data protection law, Bath Spa University is the data controller for personal information collected through this site.

  • We collect personal information in two ways:

    1. Contact/enquiry form
      If you use the contact form on this website, we collect whatever information you provide, which is likely to include your name, email address, and the content of your message. This information is sent directly to Rich Warren's Bath Spa University email address (r.warren@bathspa.ac.uk).

    2. Website analytics
      We use Squarespace's built-in analytics to understand how visitors use this website. This may include information such as pages visited, time spent on the site, general location (e.g. country or city, not precise location), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site (e.g. via search engine or social media link).

      Squarespace analytics does not, to our knowledge, use personally identifying cookies in the way third-party advertising trackers do, but it does use some cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. See the Cookie Notice below for details.

  • Contact form submissions: we use your information to respond to your enquiry. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to enquiries about the course and Artswork Media), or consent, since you choose to submit the form.

    Analytics: we use aggregated, largely non-identifying analytics data to understand and improve the website. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. Where analytics involves any non-essential cookies, we rely on your consent, given via the cookie banner.

    Contact form submissions are sent directly to Rich Warren's Bath Spa University email account and are not shared with third parties, except where necessary (for example, if your enquiry needs to be passed to a colleague at the University to answer).

    Analytics data is processed by Squarespace, Inc., which acts as a data processor. Squarespace may process data outside the UK/EEA; Squarespace's own privacy and data processing terms apply to this.

    Contact form emails are kept in line with Bath Spa University's records retention policy.

    Analytics data is retained by Squarespace in line with its own data retention practices.
